Statistical testing provides you with some possible scenarios of inferential statistic testing

  • this measures if two groups are statistically different

    • case study: built-in Brown Corpus

    • RQ: is there any significant differences in adjectives (tagged as JJ, JJT, JJR etc) in Learned (academic) and Fiction sections/types

      • Query: _JJ* 

      • attribute: type, choose fiction and learned

    • Click 'Run statistical test'

    • Results: Significant difference found, but effect size is small (see report)
